Los Angeles, CA &
Salt Lake City, Utah
From star trailers and honeywagons to makeup trailers, production vehicles, motorhomes, and trucks — King Kong Production Vehicles operates one of the most comprehensive production fleets in Southern California, serving film, television, commercial, and event productions across Los Angeles and Utah.
The only fleet in the market with a dedicated solar vehicle category and eight battery energy storage systems for clean power on set.
In 2024, King Kong launched King Kong Power — the clean energy arm of the company dedicated to sustainable film production in Los Angeles and beyond. Battery energy storage systems replace diesel generators on set. Solar hybrid trailers eliminate emissions from the basecamp entirely. Atmospheric water generation removes the need for bottled water delivery to remote locations.

We built HELIOS, the world’s first solar hybrid production trailer, in our yard in Sun Valley. It is one of six solar vehicles in the King Kong fleet.
Los Angeles and Utah
King Kong provides production trailer rental across every category a basecamp requires. Star trailers and celebrity vehicles for talent. Honeywagons for full cast. Makeup and wardrobe trailers for hair, makeup, and costume departments. Production vehicles and AD trailers for the crew. Motorhomes for principals. Restrooms, cube trucks, stakebeds, and fuel trucks for the support infrastructure that holds every set together.
We serve film productions, television series, commercials, music videos, corporate productions, and events across Los Angeles and Utah. Our fleet is one of the most modern and comprehensive in Southern California — and the only one in the market with a dedicated solar vehicle category and eight battery energy storage systems for clean power on set.
